American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with OR experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Washington State.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds
• Teaching hospital environment
• Position may float to an outpatient surgical center as needed
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington State
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM
• On-call required approximately once per week, with one weekend every six weeks to meet department needs; call shifts may occur on weeknights or weekends
• Weekend work is on-call only
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CST/OR Tech experience required
• Ability to scrub a full variety of neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine cases
• WA state license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA CST certification required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrub color is open — any color is acceptable
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of assignment
• RTO should be minimal; any time-off requests must be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
