American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a mobile MRI role at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Mobile MRI Tech position within a large 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift
• Daily caseload varies
• Siemens MRI equipment used
• Charting via Epic
• No on-call requirement
• Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Siemens MRI experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• SC state license required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on unit and manager needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
• During hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
• Parking is free on nights and weekends; a one-time $20 parking pass fee applies for other times
