American Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience performing a full range of IR and neuro procedures in an inpatient hospital setting.

Details

• Inpatient hospital Interventional Radiology unit
• Patient population is primarily adults and geriatrics, with some adolescents
• Daily caseload of 13–17 cases
• Procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies including stroke intervention
• Uses Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment; Acuson preferred
• Epic and McKesson EMR experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Primary and backup on-call rotation covering evenings, nights, and weekends
• No float requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Neuro IR experience required, including stroke intervention
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
• Experience with Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• ARRT advanced certification preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a full range of body and neuro IR procedures, including stroke intervention
• Orientation is held during the first week; candidates must be available for classes each day of orientation
• Outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospital, community hospital, and ablation experience are preferred
• Local candidates are accepted
