Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel EEG Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work Monday through Friday in an outpatient neuro department setting.

Details

• Outpatient neuro department with 2 Neurologists and 1 EEG Tech on staff
• Procedures include routine EEGs, Ambulatory EEGs, and Smartskans
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• 40 hours per week, 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used in this setting

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of EEG experience
• Graduate of an accredited EEG program
• Active NJ license required (pending license not accepted) — license required if applicable
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• ABRET certification preferred
• Experience working at a large Level 1 Trauma Hospital required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccination plus one booster required (religious exemptions accepted)
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs routine EEG studies, Ambulatory EEGs, and Smartskans
• Works closely alongside 2 Neurologists in a small, specialized neuro team
