American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with multi-service scrub and circulate proficiency, including robotics and neurosurgery, for a hospital OR position.

Details

• Hospital OR setting at a major cancer hospital and research center
• Day/evening rotating schedule consisting of a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• Shift windows run from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM depending on shift length
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed
• Services covered include Surgical Oncology, Thoracic, Colorectal, Urology, GYN Oncology, Head & Neck/ENT, Neuro, Ortho, Plastics/Reconstructive, and Robotics
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technology experience required
• Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles required
• Experience across multiple surgical services including ENT/Plastics (Flaps/Microvascular), Endoscopic procedures (Bronch/EGD/EBUS/LS), Neuro (Craniotomy/EEA/Skull base), Thoracic, and Robotics
• High proficiency in robotic surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and ENT procedures required
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Scrub and circulate across a wide variety of surgical oncology and specialty services
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Travelers changing representation from a prior assignment at this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments (exception: Sterile Processing Techs still require the 30-day break)
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
