American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with 3-5 years of general ultrasound experience and active NJ licensure for a hospital-based radiology department position.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiology Department setting
• General ultrasound exams including abdomen, renal, head and neck, and pelvic/transvaginal (TV) exams
• 4x10-hour shifts per week: every Saturday and Sunday 3:00 PM–12:00 AM midnight, plus 2 weekday 10-hour shifts with hours varying based on departmental needs
• 40 hours per week
• Charts using Epic EMR
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in General Ultrasound; hospital setting experience preferred
• Registered Ultrasonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible — registry must include Physics plus at least one specialty such as Abdominal (preferred), OB/GYN (preferred), Neonatal (optional), or Vascular (optional)
• Active NJ license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Completion of an approved Ultrasonography program
• Proficiency performing general ultrasound exams including abdominal, renal, head and neck, and pelvic/TV studies
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Travelers who have been on assignment at this facility for one calendar year must take a 30–60 day break before beginning a new assignment
