Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with experience in both echocardiography and vascular sonography, with ARDMS or CCI credentials strongly preferred.

Details

• 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required
• On-call responsibility included
• Adult acute care setting; pediatric acute care experience is a bonus but peds scans will be required
• Altera EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography and vascular sonography
• ARDMS (with RDCS or RCS) or CCI credentials for echo required; candidates registered in both echo and vascular (RVT or RVS) strongly preferred
• Candidates with echo registry but strong vascular experience may be considered
• ARDMS or CCI credentials are acceptable
• License required if applicable
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform adult echocardiography and vascular sonography; pediatric scans will also be required
• Travel experience preferred
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any products that could result in a positive test, including CBD
• Orientation includes 6–8 hours of non-billable modules completed on-site
