American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital radiology department, requiring ARRT (CT) certification, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to work night shifts.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology department
• Performs CT imaging for both adult and pediatric patients across all areas
• 2 CT Techs assigned to inpatient coverage; 1 assigned to outpatient
• Uses Epic EMR along with Canon/Toshiba scanners and Fuji Synapse PACS
• 10-hour night shifts, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (hours may vary)
• Block scheduling may apply
• No call required
• No weekend or holiday shifts for travelers

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• WV state license required — license required if applicable
• Ability to start IVs required
• Must be able to work with both adult and pediatric patient populations
• A valid driver's license copy is required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Performs CT examinations across all imaging areas for adult and pediatric patients
• Radiologist is in-house from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; on-call coverage provided from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• No lead tech on-site; department is overseen by a Radiology Director/Manager
• Orientation is generally up to 2 weeks depending on experience
• Black scrubs are required for all imaging technologists
• Radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by the agency prior to assignment start; the facility does not supply one
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered
• Travelers who have worked within the WVU system for a cumulative year or more must also take a 2-year break before returning
