American Traveler is seeking a credentialed RN for a Med/Surg Wound/Ostomy Care travel position requiring an active WOCN certification and a minimum of 2 years of wound care experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Wound, ostomy, and continence care patient population
• 32-hour weekly schedule
• Block scheduling and schedule accommodations (10/12-hour shifts) are not available for this position
• Holiday coverage required when scheduled
• Every fourth weekend rotation required
• Meditech Expanse EMR (highly preferred)

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Certified Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of current wound care experience required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Wound Care Skills Checklist (current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

• Provides specialized wound, ostomy, and continence nursing care in a Med/Surg setting
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended, and late requests may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
