Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency, working nights on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to all Med/Surg floors and potentially rehab
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
• Expected to work 1 of 2 major holidays (July 4th or Memorial Day) including surrounding days
• Tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• Maximum of 7 days of time off (RTO) for the duration of the assignment
• Manager interview required; candidates are first reviewed clinically on a case-by-case basis to determine fit before advancing to the manager
