American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Austin, TX, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification, with no call required.

Details

• CT Scan department within a large imaging services division at an acute care hospital in Austin, TX
• High-acuity environment requiring experience with stroke and trauma cases
• Fast-paced unit with 100+ imaging techs and IR nurses; day shift is staffed with 1 lead and 4+ techs depending on modality
• Primarily GE imaging equipment
• Friday–Sunday, 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required, if applicable
• CT specialty certification preferred
• Experience in trauma and stroke imaging required
• Must be able to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida or Missouri candidates)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Perform a high volume and wide variety of CT imaging procedures, with emphasis on stroke and trauma cases
• Strong scanning skills, professionalism, calm demeanor, and teamwork are essential for success in this role
• Required scrub colors: olive top and black pants
