American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Multimodality CT/X-Ray) for a 13-week night shift contract at a freestanding Emergency and Urgent Care facility in South Carolina, with first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Position is a multimodality role covering CT and X-Ray, with the potential for additional duties to support ED/Urgent Care operations
• The assignment begins at an acute care hospital location for approximately the first two weeks before transitioning to a freestanding Emergency and Urgent Care facility for the remainder of the contract
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend availability required, dependent upon the established workday schedule
• No on-call requirement
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Parking is free with a pass distributed at start

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT (CT)(R), and SCRQSA (CT)(R)
• SC state license required if applicable; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered, but must be fully licensed and active before reporting to the facility
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• A radiation dosimetry badge is required and must be provided by the agency — the facility does not supply badges to travelers
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
• Scrub colors are black and teal
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November, with peak activity in August and September), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
