American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital OR/Surgery department
• Rotating shifts of 4x10-hour days, with hours of 9:00 AM–7:00 PM or 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, flexible based on OR volumes
• On-call required based on department needs
• Holiday coverage fulfilled through on-call rotation shared with regular staff
• Floating may be required within the hospital or to sites within 40 miles based on skill set
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical department
• Must be prepared to scrub and/or circulate cases, including robotic procedures
