American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 1 academic medical center, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and proficiency in advanced cardiac procedures.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 356-bed non-profit, Level 1 academic medical center and tertiary care facility affiliated with a major university school of medicine
• Average daily census of 15–18 cases
• Mid shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• On-call requirement of 1 weekend per month (2 days of call)
• Procedures performed include: TAVR, right and left heart catheterization, diagnostics, Impella insertion, ECMO, IABP, TEE, cardioversion, EP ablations, pacemaker implants, ICD implants, Watchman, MitraClips, coronary angiography, ECHO, and lead extractions and reimplantation
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Free onsite parking available

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Circulating and scrub skills required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
