Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 16-week assignment in a hospital CT Scan department, requiring ARRT CT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiology CT Scan department
• 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Sunday
• Minimum of every other weekend required; schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
• Call and holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating is not required
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• 16-week assignment with potential extension up to 32 weeks

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• NY state injection certification required
• NY state license required, or proof of application with applied date (NY licensing typically takes 6–8 weeks, which will be factored into start date considerations); license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor are required — one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Additional Information

• This position follows an interview-to-offer process
• Complete work history is required, including bed count, EMR systems used, and facility type
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• No block scheduling is available for any reason
• Candidates with a pending NY license will be considered provided proof of application is included
