American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with active ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications and hands-on cath lab scrubbing experience for a 4x10 day shift contract in Chicago, IL.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required: Monday through Thursday call runs from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning; weekend call runs from 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Weekend availability required
• May be required to float to a different unit or facility upon manager's request

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) required if applicable
• BSN required
• Hands-on cath lab experience required, including scrubbing in cath lab procedures
• Must be able to respond to STEMI pages and be in the lab, dressed, and ready within 30 minutes
• Active IL license in hand required — no emergency or pending licensure will be accepted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the last year
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Vaccination status must be provided for consideration
