American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with Varian TrueBeam and Aria experience for an 8-week contract in a hospital Radiation Oncology department in Southeast Wisconsin.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department with 2 Linear Accelerators
• Adult oncology patient population with all cancer-related diagnoses
• Average daily patient census of 20–45 patients
• 2:1 patient ratio
• Uses Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators for treatment delivery
• Uses Aria for EMR; Epic also in use
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary based on volume)
• No weekend rotation, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Varian TrueBeam and Aria, with most recent experience within the last year
• Linear Accelerator experience required
• Experience administering radiation treatments required
• DIBH and SBRT experience preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators
• Supported by a Lead Therapist, fellow Therapists, Providers, Leadership, and RN staff
• Orientation of up to 1 week based on candidate comfort level
• Any solid scrub color is acceptable
