Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience for a hospital OR position working evening/night shifts across a broad range of surgical specialties.

Details

• Large OR with 26 high-tech suites performing both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Patient population spans all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Surgical specialties include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery
• Shift hours are 1100–2330
• 4–5 additional shift or on-call obligations per 13-week contract, which may include weekday nights or weekend day/night shifts

Requirements

• National certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• BLS certification required
• NH Medical Technician registration required upon acceptance
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• License required if applicable
• 2 manager references required for consideration
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Assist with a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple specialty service lines including robotics and cardiovascular surgery
• Support both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures in a high-volume, modern OR environment
• First-time travelers are not indicated as eligible — Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience is required
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live beyond a 75-mile radius of the facility
