American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position on an Orthopedics Acute unit, requiring active CO or Compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of IMC experience.

Details

• Orthopedics Acute unit in a hospital setting
• Intermediate Care (IMC) patient population
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours per week, full-time schedule
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required (must be AHA and not expire prior to start): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of IMC nursing experience required
• Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• English proficiency (speak, read, write) required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for orthopedic patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health data collection and assessment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
