American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification and a minimum of 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience.

Details

• Work in a CT Scan unit within a large, 865-bed Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Daily caseload varies by shift and location
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call rotation shared with staff
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA only), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) required
• License required if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Level 1 Trauma center experience required
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• A personal radiation dosimetry badge is required — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers and the agency must supply one

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered if they have relevant prior experience
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility within this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; approval is based on manager and unit availability
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Online modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Scrub colors required: teal top and black bottom
• Parking is free on weekdays; nights and weekends require a one-time $20 parking pass payment
