Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required pediatric background for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Pediatric ultrasound setting within a children's hospital
• General ultrasound unit covering both radiology and cardiology
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (schedule may be adjusted based on unit needs at time of interview)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience; 3+ years preferred
• Pediatric experience is required
• Current BLS and ARDMS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers may be considered with 3 or more years of recent experience
• If end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) fall within the assignment, traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3; if only 2 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
• Candidates cannot have Memorial Day or July 4th as requested time off
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront and will not be approved if not listed at the time of initial consideration
• Former permanent or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
