American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - CVOR Tech for a travel assignment in Ohio, requiring 5+ years of CST experience with CVOR and cardiac/vascular expertise in a Level I Trauma setting.

Details

• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting within a large academic medical center
• Performs scrub role for cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacement surgeries
• Mixed shift schedule: 2x12-hour days (1030–2300) and 2x8-hour evenings (1430–2300), with flexibility required within the 0630–2300 timeframe
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call responsibilities required
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN/CST license currently in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of total CST experience
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac and vascular experience
• Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVOR experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Proficiency in CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacement
• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, crash cart, scrub, and circulate roles
• General OR, thoracic, and vascular experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
