American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience for a day shift OR position at a high-acuity, inner-city trauma center.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Day shift schedule, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Handles complex, high-volume trauma cases including craniotomy patients
• 2-week repeating schedule; block scheduling is not permitted
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• No call requirements
• Holiday coverage is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience, which must be clearly documented in work history
• Experience in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases, including craniotomy patients
• Strong proficiency demonstrated on a specialty-matched skills checklist, particularly for craniotomy cases
• Active license required if applicable
• Copies of current certifications required for consideration
• EMR experience must be documented in work history
