Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience in a high-volume or trauma setting, with no first-time travelers accepted.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting
• Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 and 4x12 shifts), biweekly
• Evening shift hours: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a high-volume or trauma facility required; 3 years preferred
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
