Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring OB and Med/Surg cross-coverage with at least 2 years of experience and a valid MO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with regular cross-coverage to the Med/Surg floor
• Responsible for labor & delivery, postpartum, nursery, and mother/baby care, as well as Med/Surg patient care
• Position is at least half-time on the Med/Surg unit, floating to assist or take patients as needed
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Orientation to Med/Surg will be provided; prior Med/Surg experience is not required
