American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a 13-week travel contract in Indianapolis, IN, requiring 2+ years of large ED experience and working every weekend on the day/evening shift.

Details

• Emergency Services department in a hospital setting with 65 beds
• Patient ratios vary by zone: Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
• Equipment includes Alaris Pumps, Philips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
• EMR: Epic
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (days/evenings)
• Every weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required according to skill set

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency nursing experience in a large ED
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• EKG testing is required as part of the consideration process; candidates are allowed 2 attempts — if not passed, candidates may reapply to Franciscan positions in 30 days
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible to apply at a reduced bill rate
