American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Charleston, SC, working weekends and on-call shifts at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Located in an acute care hospital with 321 beds in Charleston, SC, within the main hospital building
• CT department uses GE 64 Rev EVO (x2) and GE 128 Rev EVO scanners
• Meditech is the documentation system used on the unit
• Performs trauma, stroke, ER, and inpatient CT exams
• Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts)
• On-call requirements are included in this role
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis with hospital staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience required (must have worked within the last 6 months)
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiologic Quality Standards Authority) certification required
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

• This is a Level II Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency department, supporting a high-acuity patient population
• The facility holds accreditations including Chest Pain Center (American College of Cardiology) and Stroke Center (The Joint Commission)
• Gray scrubs are required as the dress code
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
