American Traveler is hiring a Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment in a breast center setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT RT(R)(M) certification.

Details

• Work in a dedicated Breast Center performing screening and diagnostic mammography
• Patient population consists of breast screening patients
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Weekend hours as needed
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent mammography experience
• Current ARRT RT(R)(M) certification required
• Current BLS/CPR required
• Must be a licensed mammographer; license required if applicable
• License must be active and not expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
• Ability to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms independently
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms in a fast-paced breast center environment
• Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Black scrubs required
• Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; exemptions must be client-approved
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced travel pay rate
• Local candidates who have completed 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility must separate for a minimum of 1 year before returning, or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
