American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift travel assignment at an outpatient urgent care setting within a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Illinois.

Details

• Outpatient urgent care setting within a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 562 staffed beds
• Night shifts, primarily 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with one 8-hour shift per pay period
• On-call required as needed
• No floating within scope to meet facility needs (note: all travelers are expected to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility)
• Charting performed in Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience required
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted)
• Active IL state license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
• Candidates who are or have been permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO of 5 days or fewer is ideal; requests beyond 5 days require facility approval
• Any scheduling or time-off requests should be submitted upfront
• Scrubs in any solid color are acceptable
• Free parking is available on-site with a permit obtained during orientation
