American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• Work in the MRI department of a 200-bed acute care hospital
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Saturday shifts are required
• No on-call required
• No floating between units or sister facilities
• Siemens Espree scanner experience required
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Siemens Espree scanner experience required
• South Carolina license required if applicable; candidates with a pending license may be considered but must have an active SC license prior to start
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront and is subject to facility approval
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
• Black, teal, or grey scrubs required
• Parking is provided at no cost
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
