American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position at an acute care hospital in South Carolina, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy experience and an active SC or Compact RN license.

Details

• Works in the Endoscopy unit of a 286-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• On-call required, including weekend call
• Every third weekend required
• No floating required
• Charts using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or Compact RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience required
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or PRN at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) may be considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Completion of orientation modules is required prior to start date
