Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 5+ years of experience and ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient cardiac echo unit within a dedicated heart hospital
• Exams performed at the bedside (portable), with some patients brought to the inpatient unit, and outpatient exams — all with varying degrees of acuity
• Schedule is either 4x10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Occasional Saturday rotation approximately 2–3 times per 13-week contract (8:00 AM–1:00 PM)
• Ultrasound equipment available includes Philips, GE, and Siemens

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of echo/cardiac sonography experience
• Active BLS required; ACLS preferred
• One of the following certifications required: ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform echocardiographic exams across inpatient and outpatient settings with varying patient acuity
• No 30-day break is required between assignments to change representation (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who still require the 30-day break)
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
