American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring at least 2 years of CVOR experience, with both circulating and scrub skills, on a 4x10-hour day shift schedule.

Details

• Works in a 3-room CVOR unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics (20s–90s)
• Performs and assists with a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, TAVR, Mitral Clip, Aortic and Mitral Valve repair/replacement, VATS, Thoracotomy, Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, Esophagogastrectomy, Pneumonectomy, and more
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 10 days per month, including one weekend per month
• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• 13-week contract minimum

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR-specific experience required
• Circulating and scrub experience both required
• Scrub experience preferred

• Orientation is 36 hours
• Scrubs are provided
• No RTO is permitted after booking — time-off requests cannot be arranged on-site
