American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including neurovascular and vascular IR, at a short-term acute care hospital.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 449-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Daily caseload of 10–15 cases per tech
• Vascular IR scope includes endografts, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR
• Facility is a stroke thrombectomy center
• Charting performed in Cerner
• 5x8 day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (shift adjusts to 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM on call days)
• On-call requirement of 1 day per week, plus every third or fourth weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Weekends required only during on-call rotation
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No floating requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience required
• Neurovascular IR experience required
• Must be proficient in scrubbing cases and familiar with guidewires
• Experience with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid state license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform vascular IR procedures including endografts, neurovascular interventions, trauma cases, body IR, and stroke thrombectomy
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• A pending state license is accepted, but must be active by the assignment start date
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
