American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position at a 286-bed hospital in Largo, FL, requiring Meditech and Midas experience and a minimum of 1 year of case management experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Case Management unit with a patient ratio of at least 25:1
• Team consists of RN Case Managers and Social Work Case Managers
• EMR systems used are Meditech and Midas — experience with both is required
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis with hospital employees
• The facility's psych/rehab campus (West campus) is treated as a float unit for this assignment
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN Case Management experience required
• Midas experience required
• Meditech experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Complex discharge planning experience is preferred
• Navy blue scrubs are required for RNs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but strong clinical case management skills are expected given the caseload
