American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a night shift weekend position at a Level II trauma center in Asheville, NC, requiring ARRT certification and skills in diagnostic, invasive, and ED trauma/stroke CT imaging.

Details

• Located in an 800-bed acute care hospital housing the region's only Level II trauma center and the only children's hospital in western North Carolina
• CT Imaging unit on the 2nd floor of the A Tower
• Procedures include neuro, MSK, body imaging, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and pediatric imaging
• ED trauma and stroke imaging are a core part of this role
• Equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors
• EMR system is Cerner Rad Net with Philips PACS
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
• Possible rotation to another shift
• Potential on-call of approximately 12 hours per month

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience (allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months)
• Proficiency in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
• Skills in ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• GE equipment experience, invasive CT, cardiac CT, and venipuncture skills preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

• Perform neuro, MSK, body, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric CT imaging
• Work alongside a team that includes CT Technologists, a Rad Assistant, and a supervisor depending on shift
• Night shift team typically consists of 2–3 technologists and a Rad Assistant
• Self-motivated team players who can work independently are the best fit for this role
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
