American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience in adult echocardiography for a 13-week outpatient cardiology assignment in Asheville, NC.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology/echo setting within an adult echocardiography lab (MCVD)
• Position may be scheduled at the outpatient cardiology office, the hospital echo department, or both
• Adult patient population with a focus on cardiac diagnostic imaging
• Procedures include adult 2D/3D echo, strain echo, and treadmill stress echo
• Equipment used includes Philips Epiq and IE33 ultrasound systems
• EMR: Cerner PowerChart; echo reporting system: Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV)
• Day shifts only, 8–10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an adult echo technologist/sonographer, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• CCI or ARDMS certification required
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if currently licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Additional Information

• Perform adult 2D/3D echocardiography, strain imaging, and treadmill stress echo studies
• Candidates must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and demonstrate scheduling flexibility
• Green scrubs required; the facility provides 3 sets
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
