Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening/night shift role requiring 2+ years of CT imaging experience, including ED trauma and stroke imaging.

Details

• CT department located on the 2nd floor of the hospital's A tower
• 800-bed facility with staffing that varies by shift (5 techs and a supervisor on days, 4-5 techs and a rad assistant on evenings, 2-3 techs and a rad assistant on nights)
• Equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO units, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors
• EMR systems used include Cerner Rad Net and Philips PACS
• Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• Possible weekend shifts and rotation to another shift
• Potential on-call requirement of 12 hours per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic and invasive procedures
• Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• Preferred experience with GE equipment, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform CT procedures including neuro, MSK, body imaging, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric imaging
• Black scrubs required
• Team-oriented environment requiring both collaborative and independent work
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
