American Traveler is hiring a contract Ultrasound Technologist for a Women's Health Clinic setting, requiring ARDMS certification and a minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Details

• Women's Health Clinic setting at a community hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado
• Modalities include general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound
• Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, with no nights or weekends
• 26-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS certification in one or more of the following: General, OB/GYN, or Vascular — ARDMS (OB) required per posting
• Current BLS certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active state license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures per provider orders, communicating results to referring providers, and managing follow-up for STAT results and call reports
• Transfers images, patient information, and exam documentation to Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases
• Responsible for equipment calibration, disinfection after each use, and maintaining a stocked and organized exam room
• Collaborative women's health work environment
