American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Radiation Oncology position requiring BLS certification and recent trauma experience, with day shift scheduling at 40 hours per week.

Details

• Radiation Oncology department setting within a hospital environment
• Patients receiving radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and related oncology treatments
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts scheduled 4 days per week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Occasional after-hours availability may be required when patients have not completed treatment
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• 2 professional references from managers required for consideration
• IV insertion and mediport access experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include new patient visits and education, performing injections, assisting with procedures, and telephone triage
• Works as part of an experienced, collaborative oncology team
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
