American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a travel contract at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Florida, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit within a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Two weekends per month required
• Floating required to all 3 system hospitals (within approximately 20 miles) to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting is done in Epic; experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 is required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be in hand at time of consideration; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic EMR experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 required
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized immediately upon assignment confirmation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
• This is a smoke-free facility with no exceptions
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months, and travelers must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
