American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2+ years of telemetry and oncology experience, working nights on a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an academic hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Telemetry monitoring and oncology patient population

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Chemotherapy (chemo) certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care, Telemetry, and Oncology nursing experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Clean licensure history required — no licensure hits will be accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
