American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a pediatric imaging department, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT CT certification for a 13-week night shift contract in San Antonio, TX.

Details

• Pediatric hospital setting, working within the CT Scan / Imaging department
• Patient population is exclusively pediatric
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with blocked scheduling (3 days week one, 4 days week two)
• 13-week contract located in San Antonio, TX
• Epic and Sectra PACS experience highly preferred
• Canon CT and Siemens X-ray equipment experience highly preferred
• Flexibility to work other shifts and/or at other campuses may be required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB) certification required as primary modality
• ARRT or NMTCB CT certification required
• Texas MRT license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Basic computer proficiency required

Additional Information

• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures while supporting patient flow and assisting other imaging technologists as needed
• Responsible for troubleshooting basic equipment maintenance, participating in QA, and resolving image processing and PACS archiving issues
• Must be able to function as a PACS Superuser, including following downtime procedures and escalating issues to the PACS administrator as needed
• Expected to participate in ongoing education and stay current with safety and technical advances within scope of licensure
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted unless the position explicitly states otherwise
