Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with cardiovascular OR experience for a 13-week CVOR assignment at a hospital surgical unit.

Details

• Works in a main OR within a hospital surgical unit, primarily supporting cardiovascular procedures
• Case types include open heart surgery, TVARs, mitral valve repairs, and vascular cases, with additional support for robotic and orthopedic procedures as needed
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CST experience required
• CVOR scrub experience required, including open heart, TVAR, mitral valve, and vascular cases
• Graduate of an accredited CST program required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Ability to set up ORs efficiently and assist with second scrub roles for robotic and orthopedic procedures
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Copy of certifications and license verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrub open heart, TVAR, mitral valve, and vascular cases as primary responsibilities
• Assist with second scrubbing for robotic and orthopedic procedures as needed
• Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies — candidates living within the radius may be eligible at a reduced pay rate
