American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant with neurology and plastics experience for a hospital OR position requiring prior travel experience.

Details

• Hospital OR setting in a Surgical Services department
• Specializes in neuro and plastics cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00–17:30 (shift start time subject to change based on unit needs)
• Weekday call required for 4–6 shifts per scheduling period
• Weekend coverage required for 3–5 days within a 6-week period
• Candidates must be flexible with shift changes as needed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech first assistant experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Neurology and plastics surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• Assist surgeons during neurology and plastics procedures in a first assistant capacity
• Must be adaptable to scheduling changes based on unit needs
