American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and on-call availability required.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center acute care hospital with 372 staffed beds
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call is required for this position
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Free parking is available on-site with a permit obtained during orientation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of EEG technologist experience required
• R.EEGT certification preferred
• BLS required; AHA or Red Cross accepted — RQI AHA cards are not accepted
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
• Candidates must be prepared to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital — floating is 100% required of all travelers
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO of up to 5 days is generally accommodated; requests beyond 5 days require facility approval
• Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO requests must be listed at the time of initial submission
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been away for at least 12 months before being eligible as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Gray scrubs or professional business casual attire required
• Allied clinicians who do not require a state license must arrive 3 business days prior to start for fingerprinting
