American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Illinois, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Details

• 562-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet facility
• X-Ray department serving adult acute care, outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, and operating room settings
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• On-call required as needed
• Holiday coverage required; candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required for all travelers
• Charting via Cerner (experience preferred)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active IL state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• BLS required; AHA or Red Cross accepted (RQI AHA cards not accepted)
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, and operating room settings
• Proficiency with a full range of X-ray procedures including chest, abdomen/GI, spine and pelvis, head, upper and lower extremity, and mobile/surgical imaging
• Experience with C-arm procedures and portable X-ray (abdomen and chest)
• O-ARM equipment experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• RTO of 5 days or fewer is ideal; requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Scrubs may be any solid color
• Free parking is available on-site with a permit obtained during orientation
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
