American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist - Manager of Breast Imaging in Plano, TX with 5+ years of leadership experience and ARRT-M or ARRT-R certification for a 13-week travel contract.

• Located in a hospital-based breast imaging department in Plano, TX
• Modalities include mammography, biopsies, ultrasound, and bone density
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in imaging
• ARRT-M or ARRT-R certification required
• MRT required
• BLS (AHA only) required
• Active TX license required (if applicable)
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu shot required; no exemptions accepted
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for managing, planning, organizing, and improving work processes within the Breast Imaging department
• Oversees staffing patterns, scheduling, hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development
• Acts as a liaison between Breast Imaging and other departments, including physicians and medical staff
• Ensures departmental compliance with JCAHO, Texas Department of Health, and other accrediting body standards
• Leads and coordinates groups focused on patient safety, customer service, quality improvement, and employee engagement
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates who previously worked as a permanent employee at any Baylor facility may have limited eligibility
