American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with CVOR experience and Meditech proficiency for a hospital OR unit position working Monday–Friday day shifts.

Details

• Hospital surgical unit with 10 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites
• 1:1 patient ratio in the OR
• Wide variety of surgical procedures performed, excluding transplants
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call and holiday coverage required
• EMR: Meditech (experience required)
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of CST experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• BLS certification from the AHA or ARC required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required; state license required if applicable
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Neuro, ECRP, vascular, and advanced procedure experience are preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• Hospital-provided scrubs are supplied; no personal scrub color requirement
• Team includes Charge RNs, RNs, CSTs, anesthesia techs, orderlies, and equipment techs
