American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a 4x10 day shift contract.

Details

• Cardiovascular Invasive unit in an acute care hospital setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of applicable cardiovascular invasive nursing experience
• Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted); license required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Fluency in English (speak, read, write)
• Basic computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser

Additional Information

• Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Coordinates patient care from admission to discharge and advocates for patients in collaboration with physicians and team members
• Performs bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with provider orders and hospital procedures
• Demonstrates professional accountability through ongoing self-development, evidence-based practice, and clinical knowledge sharing
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO may not exceed 7 days for the duration of the contract
• Candidates who have been on assignment at any Carle Health location for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning
